Here is yet another free component from the freakedout team, the Excel Uploader. This component will allow you to upload data from an Excel spreadsheet directly into articles! Online shop owners will find this particuarly useful as it eliminates a time consuming, manual process.
For example, if you ran a music shop then a lot of your articles may contain fields that are layed out something like this:
Artist Name : Album Name
- Artist
- Album
- Release Date
- Cost
- Etc.
Any other relevant information here.
Using the Excel Uploader, the data from each row in Excel is converted into an article. The layout is of the articles can be set in the configuration part of the component which means any manner of article can be created.
